‘Reading‘ is the sole key to be called knowledgeable.
Why are you reading this article? Because, according to humans’ nature you want benefit. You want profit, you don’t worry about wrong things that you do. Profit of yours is only the thing matters for you. Oh! I know it annoys but it is a true quality in humans. I don’t mean to hurt you. Just want to exhibit this little yet an unrememberable quality in humans’ nature.
It’s a true, not a way to hurt my blog readers nor a lie!
I want to show the world, things that are wrong, what’s right and much more that even I don’t know. Let me stop here tell you the purpose of this article.
In this post I’ll be covering why should you read? how to get most out of reading activity and more. So let’s dive in;
Why should you read?
Benefits of reading I think are countless. It’s not possible for one to count them all, there are reasons and benefits of reading that oblige us to take action and read.
Without reading a lot it’s never possible for one to write better. It’s a benefit as well as a reason asks a writer to read. You get to know about different points about the topic that you can put together in your article by reading. You should start reading, because it’s an essential step if you want yourself to grow as a blogger or writer. You read, you get inspired. You read because you get to know about different things. You should read because it makes you feel who you are.
You can never write well if you don’t read. If you know about a particular topic well, you’ve knowledge about it and so can write it in your next article. If you start writing about a topic for that you don’t have any information on, you’re one cannot write the article faster and making it different. Again it asks you to read.
Well, things that I’ll be writing that could help you get most out of reading are benefits themselves.

What I got from reading?
In fact, I’ve lots of eBooks, blogs and other various forms of content about varied topic that I have to read as soon as possible, as much as I have the capacity to digest. Struggling to find time to read what’s left yet. I’m exploring the web since, I played games (those were days I used to play)! It has been more than 2 years to me using Internet.
Oh, but I got to know about blogging a bit later. By the way, whatever I write is all that I know that I speak and write things that I want you to know, you to learn from, you to benefit from. I’d like to add one single yet quite solid advantage of reading that I’ve earned by now;
Whenever I need any type of help, searching How to… on Google is solely and initially gets done by me.
When it comes to admire Google, I think abandoning that admiration could explain every point
. What else I know is because of reading and self-helping. I even didn’t know what the WordPress is. I know it now, because I read because I tried to understand the term.
Have a round around this sweet blogosphere, there’ll be countless new bloggers not having knowledge about miscellaneous topics and terms. And obviously they are so unable to go further with blogging. Even you don’t know the meaning of a common word, don’t be afraid! Go and search that word at Google. Certainly, there are dictionaries online to help you out within seconds.
I’ve a large deal of advices for those who’re new but I think stopping here would be better so that we could go ahead.
Nobody is born with knowledge, we all have to gain knowledge here in this kinda world. Nobody is expert because he has a good blog, nobody is pro without expertise.
“The more you know, the better you are. No matter, how old are you. There’s no special age of learning.”
How to get most out reading?
So I’m started now listing benefits that almost every top blogger and writer has gained and still try to gain most of it. These benefits are also called as techniques that pro ones use to get most out of their reading activity.
Reading makes you aware
Do you read newspapers? Do you read news sites? If so, you probably read to know what’s happening around you. You read to be aware about your world. You read to know about something like any special event to be held. So, if you read you acquire REALLY a great knowledge. Read news daily, be aware and know what’s happening. Make reading newspapers or news sites your habit.
There are even more things you can get from reading. For me reading merely means knowing, knowing means gaining knowledge. And having good knowledge is a sign you’re awesome. Yes!
There’s no other way of being called as a highly knowledgeable without ‘reading’. If you want to be famous and remembered. Influence people by showing your knowledge. More you know, the better you’ve read.
Whatever you’re now if you’re knowledgeable you’ve read a lot already, not necessarily from books or blogs. If not filled with knowledge you’re among those who extremely need to read.
How can you get most out of reading through “this”? Nothing, it is just a big and fantastic benefit of reading. If you’re thinking you should be start reading from a long ago, you should stop here and should see what reading news offers you? It offers you, news, knowledge and about lots of other things that are good for you. If you want to be a expert, a pro or a writer. Reading should exclusively be your next step after reading this post entirely.
Capture Ideas
In my last blog post I wrote how you could get ideas from others blogs creatively. Right? I got a good response from few of my readers and they recommended my article very nicely. I have written going opposite as the best way of getting ideas for your next content. And it works.
So, how to capture ideas? Answer is just read carefully and thoughtfully. If you see a point wrong, you just have gained a post idea! If you think, the author is wrong then it might be possible that the research done by author is wrong. Make sure always that you’ve research well. You’ve just got another idea to express that people think… show truth to the world, try to capture ideas by reading content thoughtfully. Dive in reading the post completely to make reading more effective in this case.
Analyze their Style
Reading doesn’t mean you’re gaining a lot of knowledge. Reading is just a way to understand written words. You read, doesn’t matter. You understand matters, of course! If you don’t understand what’s the benefit of reading then? If you want to be a good writer, read analyzing the written content. See how the writer is gaining others attention, how he has crafted the article and how they’ve made it easy for you to read it.
Find out their mistakes, their techniques, their tricks and more is still waiting. Yup! That’s all possible through examining purely and intelligently. Analyze how a sentence or word is used. The more you’ll concentrate you’ll have the better results. Focus is needed here.
Grow your Vocabulary
Many of us here are not native english speakers and belong to Asia, who don’t know english at the beginning (including me). Also there are those who are well-educated and have a good knowledge of English Grammar. Well, reading is really an awesome practice if you want to grab the styles of other english speakers and ways that they use to write. I myself belong to Pakistan, so I ain’t good at English in reality. What I do to make it better? I read a lot, capture important words for my vocabulary to grow by reading and trying to write content that sounds good.
Even if you don’t know the use of a word when you’re reading someone’s stuff. Don’t be afraid. And make use of Google to find the meaning. Grow your vocabulary by capturing different words that are needed to understand the stuff, that can help you in future and that could be used in your content too.
There are countless words, millions of english words that even native english speakers themselves don’t know well.
Of course, you gain knowledge
There are thousands of articles published everyday, or more than we expect! Yes, that’s true. A great amount of bloggers write and publish daily, they’ve a lot of knowledge so are able to share something new, something different regularly. How they know such amazing things? Because they’re well-informed. Because they’re highly knowledgeable, they share what they’ve got and what’s rolling in their minds. And that’s all comes from reading, not from reading a lot but by understanding what they read.

Read and Write too
No writer can be better if he/she doesn’t read. If you really want to write better. Read and write daily, practice your writing and don’t forget to research about the topic well before you start writing. What’s the main thing you do before starting writing an article or a post? Is it to find the topic and start writing? Then, you’re one who’ve to face difficulties while writing, moreover he/she has to face some troubles in finding valuable points to bring out to their audience.
That’s it.
Just keep in your mind that you’re never alone.
You’re like others.
You’ve to work hard, if want to see success.
Make reading your habit. What’s your niche? Go and find out big and popular blogs from your niche, examine their writing styles, capture interesting and useful words.
Nothing is better than reading!
Don’t forget to subscribe and share the post! I’m counting each subscriber and social share. Thanks for that precious that you spent on reading. Just read and write. Don’t know about anything else? Go and read to figure out that little problem.

It improves vocab.

Reading = Best way to be called PRO!
Thanks Puneet, noticed you’re a regular reader here. Thanks for that.
Hi,
There is a lot more to reading, than just collecting information. You can also learn where to use the right words in the right sentences (this is advanced vocabulary), you can learn about punctuating sentences properly (this is also very important), you can also learn about how various types of articles demand different styles of writing, say for example, news cannot be written in first-person, can it be? (You have covered this) You can also learn how various authors have specifically crafted styles, How various authors built a reputation with the same style throughout.
Added to that, if we start reading just to gather information, our thinking becomes biased, instead I try to dive into reading with a clean mind, I observe the writer’s style, how he has used vocabulary, how he has formatted his post, how he has punctuated his article and where and how he sends the message across to us strongly. Information goes in anyway.
I simply think there is a lot more to reading but since your post is streamlined towards blogging alone, I have to agree with a few points you mentioned above.
Good luck and work hard
Aditya
Hi,
Thanks Aditya for a comment that adds value.
What I think reading is? It is a way to understand what’s written and moreover there are countless benefits and reasons to read, like you’ve mentioned in your comment about various things we can capture from a content.
Well, Good Luck for your blog.
Keep up the good work!
Awesome post! Well yes, reading a lot does helps to write better and well quoted “the more you know, the better you are.” And agreed, nothing is better than reading. Thanks Mairaj for sharing this wonderful post

~@khajamoin1
Ah, haha!
You’re looking for readers… That’s a nice thing, but I’d love to say one thing; readers want to read.
Hi Pirzada,
Absolutely, reading is important as breakfast. I think that Reading is everything (all) because without reading we can’t improve our knowledge, communication skill, vocab, writing skill. So we can’t survive in the real world.
Thanks.
Puneet,
I think, reading is really really really very very important!
Thanks for your comment!
Bro I think you are addicted to write big posts, Please remember one thing.. 50% of readers don’t like to read big posts, they will read few points of your post only. Just a suggestion, you can explain your post simply and interestingly within 600 to 800 words
Hey Sai,
I’m addicted actually, and really don’t prefer writing short ones because of few yet solid reasons. Here they go;
1. They aren’t deeply discussed
2. They look like no effort made on them
3. They doesn’t exhibit things that I want to
Well, I’m totally against writing posts that I think aren’t useful for my blog readers. I don’t mean to say, that short ones aren’t useful, nor I want to hurt anyone because he/she writes short articles.
What I want? Simply, writing big, discussed deeply a lot, ones that touches etc.
Thanks for your valuable and reasonable comment. Thanks for the suggestion! But I really don’t want to write that doesn’t explain things well. I know, concise posts are awesome and can influence readers. But, personally I don’t want to write them.
People love reading short ones, and I’m also trying to grab their attention even after writing long posts.
Hey, thanks for sharing a nice view of yours on reading. Reading provides you with the knowledge and vocabulary which will help during your writing and in using a variety of words of same meaning when you are speaking in front of someone.
Thanks mate!
Gathering words for vocabulary is really important that could be used in writing articles.
Hey Mairaz, nice post indeed. I agree with each and every point you have included in your post. I love reading and I guess this was what turned me into the field of writing.
However I only like to read the interesting stuff and Long paragraphs really turn me off
Short paragraphs with snappy content is what I like to read.
True thing!
Another booming post Mairaj. Reading must be a daily habit for a blogger as it helps us to gain new knowledge as well as helps us to improve our writing skills too.
Thanks buddy, for an appreciating comment!
Hi Mairaj……
According to me, If you want to write really good article than you have to read lots of article written on that topic to know what has been already written and what is missing.
I like to read online very much, I don’t like to read novel/books (i know this is a bad habit); but I don;t know why but i love to read over internet.
Mairaj has already described the benefit of reading and there is not much for me to add related to this topic.
So keep reading and keep writing good articles.
Hi,
Same here mate, I loved reading books etc. But, this fond had been disappeared since I got here! haha, blogging has made me read ONLINE only. It’s not a bad habit, nor a good one. We should read books more than online writing, because books are more beneficial and are written solely for us to make use of them effectively. If we don’t care of this, it’s really sad to say we don’t care of our Mahaan writers, authors and publishers who spend months and sometimes years on writing for us.
Thanks for those last words in your comment, that motivates me to write and write only!
BTW, I mostly write on topics that are not explained well on other blogs. Your blog will surely be included there in the list, if it lacks any article with less information. So be careful and discuss comprehensively, else I’m reading and analyzing your blog and could steal ideas and topics from it. HAHA! That wasn’t a joke, and I could do it. So, write comprehensively and thoughtfully.
Don’t worry, you’re already doing good enough but don’t give me any chance to copy your topic/idea.
It seems that i have to block your IP address to access my blog
just kidding bro.
You are absolutely right. We should write an article in such a way that it should cover all the possible relevent information so that if someone read your article then he/she must say…what to write now for this article… it has covered all the things.
Very nice thinking bro… keep it up.
Nice joke.
Yes. It’s very essential and important to cover things very deeply, so others could steal topic but cannot get something new into it to bring out. Thanks for your response!
